Welcome to LlanBikeFest 2016 at Llangollen, North Wales

After a brilliant start in 2015, LlanBikeFest is back – and it’s bigger and better than ever. This year’s event will feature more bikes, more clubs, more traders… and more visitors. It’s 48 hours of biker bliss, all set in the beautiful North Wales countryside. What more could you want?

What can you see at LlanBikeFest 2016?

Fifteen-time world champion Giacomo Agostini is LlanBikeFest’s guest of honour in 2016. The Italian hero, who notched up 122 Grand Prix wins during a glittering career, will fly in from Europe in order to meet fans, judge competitions, sign autographs and pose for photographs.

Agostini said: “I’m looking forward to being at LlanBikeFest in July – a real festival of motorcycling for everyone who loves bikes, in a beautiful part of the world.”Agostini is not the only big name heading to the show. Local rider and TT racer Paul ‘Moz’ Owen will also be dropping by, while enthusiasts of an older generation will enjoy Graeme Hardy paying tribute to George Formby in an act that includes a replica of Formby’s home-made racer – a 1926 Model P Triumph. Graeme will bring his ukulele and a range of songs, including ‘Riding in the TT Races’, to celebrate Formby’s classic 1935 comedy film ‘No Limit’.

What you can do at Race, Rock ‘n’ Ride 2016?

Has all that got you revved up? Then turn up and get involved. Bring your own bike and race up the strip. Compete in the drag racing championship. Pull off your own personal stunts in the wheelie competition. Push yourself and your machine to the limits. If you’re up for it, this is the time and place to make a name for yourself and wow the crowds – not to mention all your mates.

What can you do at LlanBikeFest 2016?

LlanBikeFest is the perfect chance to admire hundreds of bikes from clubs and individuals across the country. There’ll also be a prize ceremony on Sunday afternoon, so get down to catch a glimpse of some truly outstanding motorcycles. And if looking isn’t enough, head over to the Extreme Wheelie company, where £5 will get you the chance to pull a monster wheelie on Yamaha’s new 165bhp MT-10.

When you fancy a change of scenery, why not let your hair down with The Ready Eddies? The Wolverhampton band will play both days in the outdoor family entertainment area, as well as appear at the Wynnstay Arms in Llangollen on the evening of Saturday 23 July.

Never get bored with LlanBikeFest’s outdoor family entertainment area

From kids’ rides to a chill-out zone and a music stage, LlanBikeFest’s family entertainment area has everything you need to ensure the whole family has a fantastic time.

Elsewhere, specialist dealers will be on hand to give advice and tips to those looking for their ideal next bike. Chester Motorrad know the needs of BMW riders and can help whether you’re searching for a new bike or you’re an existing owner. And there’ll also be a Harley Davidson dealer on site.
