Join us for a wonderful Welsh adventure at Llandovery Motorbike Weekend 2019

New on the Carole Nash calendar for 2019 is Llandovery Motorbike Weekend 2019 – and we can’t wait to get down to the heart of Wales for what promises to be two cracking days in the sun celebrating all things bike.

Originally launched by HRH The Prince of Wales in 2016, this annual community event has gone from strength to strength. It’s run by passionate, local volunteers, so you know you’re in safe hands from the moment you arrive.

Its family-friendly atmosphere is great at bringing everyone together for a memorable two days, with local cottages, hotels, B&Bs and campsites all packed as visitors arrive from every corner of the country.

What’s on at Llandovery Motorbike Weekend 2019?

As ever at The Mart, it’s a busy 48 hours of motorbiking excitement. Chief among the attractions is the informal Bike Show event, with entry forms already available online. The show features four categories – British, European, Japanese and Vintage – with an overall ‘Best of Show’ winner’s slot also up for grabs.

Elsewhere, there’ll be valuable road safety sessions running across the weekend. RoSPA will be running training sessions in the main arena while Carmarthenshire County Council Road Safety Team and its partners will offer FREE Dragon Rider courses on Sunday 7 July with advanced RoSPA/IAM, DVSA-approved instructors. And if that’s not a bargain enough, it might save you even more money – some insurance companies recognise this additional training!

If you’re just coming for the Saturday, don’t worry – you’ve got the option of joining the free Biker Down course run by Mid Wales Fire and Rescue. It will teach you everything you need to know to take safe action at the scene of a motorcycle incident. Both courses are completely free and offered on a first come, first served basis, so book now, while IAM is also offering a free taster ride with its instructors over the weekend.

Elsewhere, there are some cracking stalls to wander around, as well as some of Wales’s most talented arts and crafts sellers. There’s live music on both days to keep the mood bouncing along. And for any youngsters feeling particularly loud and proud, the Youth Criers Competition is the perfect opportunity to test out your lungs. Impromptu bike criers are also set to show off their skills – which is always good for a laugh!

Don’t forget to pop down to the Carole Nash tent stand. We’ll be there both days, handing out piles of our exclusive goodie bags and stopping for a chat with anyone who fancies a break from the hustle and bustle of the main show.

We’ve got a cracking free prize draw lined up, with a £100 prize to redeem against any Carole Nash bike or car insurance policy, so make sure you complete your entry form for the chance to take home a little something extra special.

Our insurance team will also be on hand to answer any of your questions, and we’ll have stacks of exclusive Carole Nash merchandise available. We can’t wait to see you!
