Kick off the new biking year at the Carole Nash Classic Bike Guide Winter Classic 2019

Get the new biking year off to a roaring start and ride over to Newark Showground for The Carole Nash Classic Bike Guide Winter Classic 2019 this January.

Taking place over the first weekend of 2019 on January 5 and 6, we are excited to work together again with the Classic Bike Guide for this key fixture in the classic motorcycling calendar. So dig out your leathers and head to Nottinghamshire for your fix of vintage bikes – doors open at 9am on both days.

Unearth treasures at the trade stalls

The Carole Nash Classic Bike Guide Winter Classic is the ideal place to while away a few hours admiring dozens of vintage vehicles, many painstakingly restored by their owners and proudly displayed at club stands over the two-day period.

With dozens of trade stalls to browse, as well as autojumble plots and dealership stands too, this classic biking event is likely to turn up rich pickings if you’re adding to your collection of memorabilia or hunting down that elusive spare part. There’s something for everyone, whether you’re in the market for some second-hand machinery or a set of new leathers after one too many mince pies.

New year, new (old) bike? Christmas might have been and gone but if a new project was what you really wanted to find under the tree, you might just stumble on a bargain from yesterday, ready to be restored to its former glory.

Super scooters and a special guest

Classic bikes aren’t all that’s celebrated at the Carole Nash Classic Bike Guide Winter Classic – the 2019 instalment will bring with it the return of the Scooter World hall, which will be filled with all manner of retro rides for the weekend.

Last year saw the Scooter World event grow to its biggest and best yet, with local scooter clubs, traders and private exhibitors turning out in force – will 2019 smash 2018’s record? Come along to find out!

Bringing your bike or scooter? Why not enter your prized machine for judging? The best classic models will scoop covetable trophies!

Guest of honour of the weekend will be American former world champion motorcycle racer “Fast” Freddie Spencer, who rose to glory in the 1980s. Freddie will be interviewed on stage by Steve Plater – catch him afterwards to snap a selfie.

We’re so excited for our first event of the year and the Carole Nash Classic Bike Guide Winter Classic 2019 is just the thing to lift us out of that post-Christmas lull. As a key sponsor of the Newark show, our team will be on hand for the whole weekend, so pop over to our tent and see what we’ve got on offer.

We’ll be displaying a beautiful Kawasaki 750 H2C Triple for you to look at as well as handing out bike insurance information and answering your questions, so see if we can’t save you a few bob on your premiums for 2019. Pick up a free goodie bag and stop for a chat – we love it when you talk bike to us. Don’t forget to enter our prize draw too, it’s completely free and we’ll have a fantastic biking prize up for grabs!
