Life’s a beach at Brightona 2017
Not much beats bikes and bands by the beach, so gear up for a great time this October at Brightona 2017 – we can’t wait to see what’s in store this year!
Never mind the autumnal weather, nothing can dampen spirits at one of Brighton’s biggest and best-loved events, which is back for its 14th instalment in 2017 with its tried and tested formula of two-wheeled fun for all the family.
Expect all the usual seaside celebrations as big-hearted bikers turn out to support a good cause – the Royal Sussex County Hospital’s cardiac department benefits from the thousands of pounds raised at the annual Brightona event, so dig deep!
Brightona 2017 set to be bigger and better than ever
Thousands of riders rock up to Brightona every year to show off their best bikes and enjoy an action-packed day at the beach, so expect row upon row of gleaming machines to admire at the 2017 event, which is set to be bigger than ever before.
Along with the more traditional bikes and cars, there are all kinds of other motors on show, including scooters, trikes and quads, and a contest on the day to determine the models that really outshine the competition.
There are prizes for the machines judged to be top across a range of categories, including the best custom creation and best in show, and there’s a hot rod segment, too, so ready your eyes for a feast of modified muscle cars and customised classics.
Bands and biking bargains at Brightona 2017
Brightona is also the perfect place to pick up some new biking gear, with dozens of traders setting up stall for the day. Whether you’re looking for a new set of leathers, some motorcycle memorabilia or some biking bargains, you’ll find tons of trade stands to browse.
No biker event would be complete without a little light entertainment and Brightona never fails to disappoint – there are bands performing live over three stages during the day, so there’s bound to be something to suit all tastes. And when it’s time to refuel, you’ll have your pick of food and drink options.
A highlight of the day is the now-famous Wall of Death – a terrifying stunt show performed by daredevils on two wheels. Not for the faint-hearted, this death-defying display guarantees to draw gasps from the watching crowds, year in and year out!
Carole Nash at Brightona 2017
The Carole Nash crew will be pitched up for the day at Brightona 2017, so head over to our tent for a bit of biking banter with our motorbike insurance specialists – we’re always happy to hand out advice and see if we can save bikers a packet on their premiums.
We’ll be giving out Carole Nash goodie bags and running an exciting GoPro competition, too – see if you’ll be a winner by entering our free draw for this fantastic biking prize!
