The west went wild with two-wheel excitement!
What a weekend at the show they call the ‘friendly show’ – the 36th Carole Nash Bristol Classic Motorcycle Show! It may have started a little damply, but Saturday’s cloudburst soon turned to glorious sunshine on Sunday. And nothing dampened the happy atmosphere as thousands of bikers rode in for two days of sheer delight.
Hall after hall packed full of traders, dealers and exhibitors mounting great displays of hot ideas and amazing bikes. So it was easy to see why this annual show is an absolute ‘must-visit’ for every classic enthusiast.
With Best in Show’ up for grabs, there was fierce but good natured competition as exhibitors went head to head for the coveted trophy. Local clubs were also strutting their stuff – so congratulations to those who picked up the awards. To us, everyone looked a winner!
Prices took a real hammering at the fantastic 36th Carole Nash Bristol Classic Motorcycle Show!
Bids came thick and fast as fans flocked to the classic bike auction hosted by Charterhouse, the experts in vintage vehicle sales. It was like a ride through the whole history of motorcycling in one afternoon, with everything from pioneer bikes to modern classics going to new owners at knock down prices.
Over at the autojumble, all sorts of biking paraphernalia just flew of the stands, with happy buyers going home laden with bargains they’d plundered from a jumble that put Aladdin’s Cave in the shade.
Lots of bikers went happily home as winners
Famous gavel-bangers Charterhouse will be hosting a classic bike auction on the Sunday of the show. They have donkey’s years of experience of classic and vintage vehicle sales, so you’ll literally have lots to bid for.
We loved being there as sponsors and meeting so many fellow bike lovers. Everyone that came on the Carole Nash stand helped themselves to great giveaways and price-busting quotes on their bike insurance, not to mention the FREE prize draw to win £250 off their bike insurance. (The lucky winner has been notified!)
Roll on next year, because this event just gets bigger and better!
