More than 40,000 visitors descended on ExCeL London for the Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show 2019 in mid-February. And what a superb event they enjoyed!

There were some stunning machines on display, including Destiny Cycles’ Norton Seeley, which had the crowds flocking from near and far. So too did The Mustard, with its eye-catching looks and monstrous engine revving up the fans like few others.

A truly unique model – the Rough Inferior, built entirely from spare parts in the owner Neville’s shed – had the crowd equally amazed. We certainly couldn’t stop staring at it!

At the other end of the spectrum, there was also a public debut for Triumph’s new 1200cc Speed Twin and some new bikes from global brands like Ducati, BMW, Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki.

A great prize draw for a Petronas FP1

Elsewhere, Petronas held a prize draw for one of its FP1 superbikes, which was only produced for six months back in 2003. And there was some jaw-dropping action in both the Michelin Thunderdome – where 45-degree banking met high-speed racing – and the brand-new Rage Cage, with its six-metre tall wall of steel!

John McGuinness also had fans enthralled with tales from his legendary career, while the Bonhams Classic Zone was a real nostalgia trip for those looking to rekindle memories from yesteryear.

Goodies for all at the Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show 2019

As proud show sponsors, we were out in force for all three days, resulting in us giving away literally thousands of our free goodie bags and Carole Nash calendars.

At the Carole Nash café, plenty of folk stopped by for a free cuppa and a chance to sit down, while our motorbike insurance experts were rushed off their feet answering questions about every aspect of motorbike policies.

In fact, at the end of the it all it was us who needed a rest. But don’t worry, we’ll be fully recovered and back in action at the 2020 event – we can’t wait to see you there!
