The crowds that flocked to Peterborough for the Carole Nash MCN Festival of Motorcycling 2018 certainly got their rewards. With two amazing days of sensational sunshine, a bucketload of bikes and a brilliant atmosphere all round, this was a weekend that will live long in the memory for all those who attended.
Revelling in two days of non-stop biking glory at the East of England Arena
Few events can match the Carole Nash MCN Festival of Motorcycling 2018 for thrills and general biking action.
Indeed, with the biggest test-ride fleet in Europe on hand, there was no shortage of things to do for anyone looking at which motorcycle might be next on their shopping list.
And for those who wanted to watch rather than take part, there was a huge array of choices – including a superb stunt show that had the audience gasping and cheering in equal measure.
With former 250cc and 500cc Grand Prix World Championship winner Freddie Spencer mixing with crowds and signing autographs galore, and a DTRA Championship round full of manoeuvres, near misses and celebrations, this was two days pumped full of motorcycling adrenalin at the East of England Arena.

Elsewhere, a huge range of stalls and displays in the club zone gave visitors a chance to see several vintage classics up close and personal.
There were machines for every era, making it the perfect occasion for biking history buffs and those who just wanted to marvel at the sport’s origins.
At the Carole Nash stand, our crew was busy handing out goodie bags by the dozen and we were overwhelmed by the number of visitors who wanted to chat all things bike.
