Carole Nash RIAC Classic Car Show 2018

Classic car lovers are expected to descend on Dublin in their droves when the Carole Nash RIAC Classic Car Show 2018 returns for its fourth instalment over the weekend of 10 and 11 March 2018.

The last event, which was held two years ago, attracted around 12,000 vintage vehicle enthusiasts, and the 2018 show is anticipated to be just as well attended.

Taking place at the Royal Dublin Society’s Simmonscourt Hall at Ballsbridge, the Carole Nash RIAC Classic Car Show 2018 will have a distinctive Italian flair this year. ‘Celebrating Italian Car Design’ is the theme of the event and visitors can expect to admire both rare finds and popular supercars alike. From the smallest brands to the most renowned marques, the show will host around 250 classic cars in total.

What’s in store at the Carole Nash RIAC Classic Car Show 2018?

As well as hundreds of classic cars to admire, this year’s Carole Nash RIAC Classic Car Show will welcome vintage vehicle experts from near and far. The Irish classic car community is growing and this popular event is a great opportunity to mingle with like-minded car lovers.

Chairman of the Royal Irish Automobile Club Arthur Collier recently announced the organisation’s delight at being able to bring the show to Dublin once more, describing the event as “a showcase for the old car movement that brings so much enjoyment to so many enthusiasts throughout Ireland”.

With countless trade stands and car dealers attending over the weekend, visitors looking to add a new classic to their collection will have plenty of choice. Likewise, the Autojumble Zone promises to be a treasure trove for classic car fans hoping to pick up elusive parts for a restoration project.

A special guest will be in attendance, too – Car SOS presenter Fuzz Townshend will be signing autographs and posing for pictures with visitors to the show over the weekend.

The Carole Nash team will be handing out goodie bags and answering questions, as well as providing on-the-spot classic car insurance quotes and exclusive discounts for event attendees.

Weekend visitors will be able to find out more about Carole Nash’s classic car insurance and multi-vehicle policies, which include an array of benefits as standard, such as agreed value, accident and breakdown recovery and salvage retention, and can cover classic cars for up to 7,500 miles per year.
