Minis have a reputation for being one of the most popular classic cars in the world. They are an icon of British pop culture, famed for their small size and spacious interior. Like many classic cars, they have a devoted following, with events held around the country. Here are some of the best Mini events to look forward to in 2017.

Brands Hatch Mini Festival on 8th July – 9th July

The Brands Hatch Mini Festival, held in Longfield, attracts thousands of visitors every year. It’s a meeting place for classic Mini clubs, who’ll have their collections on display. They’ll be a live music stage and Saturday and Sunday both have exclusive events.

On Saturday, stunt drivers from the Paul Swift Precision Driving team will go head to head. Sunday is dedicated to a performance from famous stunt driver Paul Swift. He’ll be delivering a unforgettable tribute to the Italian Job.

Mini In The Park 2017 on the 13th August

Mini In The Park is held at the Santa Raceway in Podington, Bedfordshire. It’s an event designed to show off the beauty of Minis and bring together like-minded people. There’s plenty to see and do, from taking part in the Great Mini Bake Off, to competing against other Minis on the Santa Pod quarter-mile track.

We’re also sponsoring this year’s Win A Mini Competition by giving you the chance to drive away in a limited edition 1996 Mini Equinox. It features a 1275cc engine, low mileage and metallic charcoal paint job.

MiniFest 2017 on the 17th September

This year’s MiniFest will be held at Stanford Hall in Lutterworth, Leicester. This is a must for any Mini enthusiast, as all the top specialists will be gathering to offer the best trade prices. If you need advice on a restoration project they’ll be an opportunity to ask questions at the various stalls. Be sure to look out for an auto-jumble stand, as you could come across a rare part you’ve been searching for.
