Classic VW enthusiasts have a lot to look forward to in 2017, as there are plenty of events to attend. Here are five of the best VW events coming up in the next few months.
VW Camper and Bus Magazine Show on 28th – 30th July
We’ll be sponsoring this spectacular event that’s taking place in Eastnor Deer Park. The VW Camper and Bus Magazine show is designed for the whole family. Bring your camper along and spend the weekend enjoying the sight of Eastnor Castle. There will be lots of other VW campers around, so you’ll be able to bond with other people over a mutual appreciation for your vehicles.

Volkswagen Northwest on 6th August
VW Northwest is the biggest VW show in the North of England, held at Tatton Park. The event caters to all types of VW enthusiast, as it features Beetles, vans, buses and buggies. There’s a lot to participate in, such as the Concours competition for Air-Cooled VW’s and the Race & Performance Air Cooled Display.
Away from the cars, Tatton Park is worth exploring. There’s the historic Old Hall and beautiful scenery to take in.
VW Fab Festival on 25th – 27th August
This year, the VW Fab Festival is being held at the Strumpshaw Steam Museum. Weekend passes provide access to the museum, which contains a large collection of steam engines. Along with various VW cars on display, the festival hosts the ‘Dub Tucker Trial’ based on the I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Bushtucker trial.
Animal overs can also take part in the ‘Scrufts’ dog show. You’ll be able to present your canine to an audience and prove why he or she is top dog.

Field Of Dreams Air-Cooled VW Festival on 1st – 3rd September
Held at Escrick Park Estate in York, this festival showcases the beauty of classic VWs. The festival features live bands, gift traders, autojumble traders, children’s activities and a dog show. It’s about spending time with your family and appreciating some of the most stunning classic cars in the UK. Plus, you’ll have the chance to sightsee in York and soak up the history.
