This year’s Classic Car & Transport Show will take place on Sunday 25th and Monday 26th of May at Ragley Hall in Alcester, Warwickshire.Thousands of visitors are expected to attend the Bank Holiday event, which celebrates its 22nd birthday this year.
The show will feature a display of individual entries, driver and club stands and an autojumble. There will also be a whole host of other attractions for people of all ages to enjoy.Visitors to the show will be treated to a fantastic line-up of around 600 cars, including vintage, American, classic, custom and kit cars, as well as motorcycles.
The show is set in the stunning grounds of Ragley Hall, which boasts just over 400 acres of woodland, parkland and gardens for visitors to enjoy. The Hall was designed by Robert Hooke in 1680, and is one of the earliest Palladian houses in the country.
Visitors to the event can take advantage of the water sport activities available at the Ragley lake, the lakeside picnic area, the childrenís adventure playground and various woodland walks.Other attractions include childrenís inflatables, a falconry display and an appearance from the Piston Ring Youth Motorcycle Team.
Business development manager at Ragley, Emma Maguire, commented that the show is exciting and enjoyable for all ages, and is not just for motor enthusiasts.
The show opens from 10am – 5pm each day. Tickets cost £10 per adult and £5 for children. Entry is free for children under 5 and for Ragley members.
