Clarkson adds vroom to our Valentines weekend!

Wow! What heart-throbbing excitement at the Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show! A weekend that included St Valentine’s day, and a chance to fall in love with biking all over again.

Among the thousands packing into the ExCel in London was Jeremy Clarkson himself – spotted eyeing up the lots at the auction, where bikers were indulging their passion for everything on two wheels, and getting up close and personal with their objects of desire. And there was a lot to get excited about!

The show was a star-studded spectacular with the cream of the motorcycling world on display. As well as Clarkson.

Four fabulous zones that covered Custom, Classics, Adventure and Sports, and Performance, with big biking stars everywhere and stunning demonstrations from the pros on stage. Get this for a name check of some of the biggest names in BSB. Neil Hodgson, Chris Walker, Niall Mackenzie, John Reynolds and Tommy Hill.

Plus TT hero John McGuinness, who donned his leathers for the fast-paced live ‘Slide’ show. This American take on speedway was one of the action-packed events in the show that kept the excitement at fever pitch. As did all the dream model ranges from the big name motorcycle names.

Bagging bargains and bidding for classics, at the Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show 2016

No wonder Jeremy Clarkson turned up! Exhibitor’s stands were stacked with biking bargains galore – with lots of absolute steals in the ever-popular autojumble offerings.  And Coys, the famous valuers and auctioneers of historic models, had people throwing their hands up in excitement as a mouthwatering collection of Italian machines was put up for bids.

Our hot new app was love at first sight!

The crowds came, they saw . . . and they couldn’t resist the amazing new insidebikes app powered by Carole Nash. This FREE download let bikers get into the saddle of Rocket Ron Haslam’s Honda superbike - and speed round Donington GP Circuit in a breathtaking augmented reality 360O experience. And making it all the more thrilling, we actually had Ron’s bike on the stand!

Competing with it for attention was a stunning Destiny's Invader – a Suzuki based in a Destiny Goldrush frame, designed and built by Vic & Lin. Plus an eye-popping custom Harley whose owner proudly rides to work every day, in his suit! Bet that turns commuters’ heads. Certainly turned ours!

A winning weekend at the Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show 2016

Our free prize draw was also hugely popular, and the very lucky winner will receive their Go Pro package this week.

Of course, everyone who came to the Carole Nash stand went home a winner thanks to our pocket-pleasing quotes on their motorcycle insurance. They also grabbed great giveaways, including our ‘must have’ 2016 Carole Nash Calendar.

As sponsors, we were delighted to welcome so many fellow bike lovers onto our stand. The show encapsulated everything we love about biking, and we’d love to see you at the next one!
