The first BLD Dream Machines of the year will take place on 1 April. This is the largest weekly bike meet in Britain, where over 1,000 motorbikes and their owners gather every Tuesday evening until the end of September.
The meetings are attended by both enthusiast and novice bikers from across the United Kingdom and beyond. The Poole Quay will be closed during the events except for bikes, which will create a fantastic display for all those attending.
The Dream Machines event marks the start of Poole's Wave 105 Summertime in the South, a large programme of events that will take place in the town from April until November.
Entry for the event will cost enthusiasts just £1, but those who want to participate in all gatherings can buy a season armband for just £8.50 at the Welcome Centre. However, the season armbands are limited to 1,450 units.
A Bike of the Night competition will be organised for each of the Tuesday night meets, where judges will choose their favourite bike. The owner of the winning bike will receive a race kit provided by Muc-off and a Bike of the Night mug. All winners during the season will be invited to participate in the Bike of the Year finale on 30 September.
The Dream Machines is a self-funded event. Any additional income will be donated to local charity organisations nominated at the Bike of the Year event on the season's final night.
