Got a question

It's official: the 2015 Ducati Diavel is set to hit UK dealerships later this month. The bike is the second cruiser from Ducati after the Indiana, and the model was first revealed at the 2010 Esposizione Internazionale Ciclo Motociclo e Accessori (EICMA), or the Milan Motorcycle Show.

The Italian motorcycle manufacturer took the wraps off the new Diavel in early March at the 84th Geneva International Motor Show in Switzerland. The machine is a second-generation bike which features a modified version of the Testastretta 11 engine and exhaust. The bike also has other upgrades, including a revised headlight, new radiator covers and bar risers, Cycle World reports.

The Diavel has the control, fun and agility you'd expect from a sport bike, all while having the stability and comfort of a cruiser. The 2015 model is powered by 1198.4 cc, four-stroke Testastretta 11 L-twin, dual-spark, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine, which is also used in the new Monster 1200.

The Diavel's engine reaches optimal power of 162 BHP at 9250 RPM and a maximum torque of 130.5 NM at 8000 RPM. It is equipped with a six-speed gearbox, with the engine and the rear wheel linked via a chain set.

The Diavel, built on a tubular steel trellis frame, is fitted with adjustable Marzocchi 50 mm USD forks at the front and adjustable rear shock with progressive linkage at the rear. The Diavel weighs 210 kilograms and the fuel tank capacity is 17 litres. The bike also has 320 mm Brembo dual discs with 4-piston caliper at the front and a 265 mm Brembo disc with a 2-piston caliper at the rear, gaadi.com reports.
