Ace Café Margate Meltdown 2019 review

Bikes as far as you can see at the Ace Café Margate Meltdown 2019

There’s only thing that can make a beautiful day even more spectacular – and that’s the procession of bikes involved in the Ace Café Margate Meltdown 2019!

From the North Circular Road through to Margate seafront, the 12th successive version of this event attracted another spectacular crowd of bike fanatics from every corner of the UK.

Along the now familiar route of the A406, A13, M25, A2, M2 and A299, there were bikes as far as the eye could see.

Brilliant music and tasty fish and chips – the dream day out

From the very start of the day, when the bikers left Ace Café London, it was clear this was going to be another stunning success. By the time everyone had arrived on the seafront, Margate was awash with stalls, attractions, displays – and thousands upon thousands of motorcycle lovers.

A great band kept everyone’s feet tapping as they browsed the trade stands and soaked up the sun. And almost everywhere you looked, it was easy to spot someone tucking into some magnificent seaside fish and chips. What a fabulous British day out!

Carole Nash at the Ace Café Margate Meltdown 2019

As ever, we’d been counting down the days to this event – it’s one of our favourites on the calendar! The number of friendly faces that popped in to say hello at the Carole Nash tent only reinforced our view of the Ace Café Margate Meltdown.

As the day progressed, we dished out countless goodie bags. Our free prize draw also attracted plenty of interest, and our range of Carole Nash merchandise also proved popular.

All in all, it was another terrific day out. We’ve got next year’s event marked in our diaries already!
