What’s on at Llan Bike Fest 2018?

Few places look better than the North Wales countryside on a hot August weekend – which is why we’re so excited to be travelling to Llangollen for Llan Bike Fest 2018. Headlining this year’s event is the return of TT legend John McGuinness, who’s back by popular demand after wowing the crowds with his extreme bravery and commitment at last year’s event – just weeks after suffering horrendous injuries at the North West 200 in Northern Ireland.

This year, though, John is ready to throw himself into the thick of the action and meet as many fans as possible. “I’ll definitely be at Llan Bike Fest in August,” he said. “It’s a weekend of fun and a great family affair, and I feel completely recharged.”

View hundreds of bikes at Llan Bike Fest 2018

John McGuinness won’t be the only visitor bringing a machine or two from their motorcycle collections. The event organisers are expecting record numbers of individual exhibitors in 2018. So if you fancy spending the weekend among classic, racing, touring, off-road, and custom motorbikes, be quick to get your tickets to this international festival of motorcycling. There’ll also be another chance to see the impossible-to-believe stunts of Isle of Man hero Steve Colley, who dazzles the crowds year after year with some of the most mind-boggling tricks you’ve ever seen. And he won’t be the only one getting hearts beating faster, thanks to jumps and stunts of Savage Skills, the UK’s leading freestyle mountain bike stunt team.

Fantastic fire-eating displays and other attractions

Elsewhere at Llan Bike Fest 2018, the return of Stage Invaders is already confirmed after Emma and Sallie proved such a big hit last year. Their combination of stilt walking and fire eating is sure to catch the eye again. Bike Safe will also be attending, offering their courses on road management and generally teaching motorcyclists to be safer, better drivers – wherever they put their leathers on.

And there’ll be a blast from the past in the shape of Graeme Hardy, whose impersonation of George Formby – complete with ukulele and Shuttleworth Snap – is always a family favourite.

Pay us a visit at the Carole Nash stand

Once again, we’re thrilled to be going to Llan Bike Fest 2018 and we can’t wait to see you all down at the Carole Nash tent stand.

We’re expecting our ever-popular free prize draw to generate plenty of attention (don’t forget to enter!), while you’re guaranteed to go away with something thanks to the Carole Nash crew handing out our exclusive goodie bags to visitors.

You’ll have the chance to see some spectacular bikes up close and personal – keep a close eye on our social media profiles for more details as the event gets closer!

Alternatively, feel free to pick our brains with any of your insurance questions – our friendly team will be pleased to see you. We can’t wait for the fun to begin!
