Devon Classic Motorshow 2014: 24 & 25 August

Do you have any plans for the August Bank Holiday weekend?

The Devon Classic Motorshow is taking place on Sunday 24 and Monday 24 August at Ugbrooke House & Park, Chudleigh.

There will be a huge range of both classic and modern vehicles on display at the event, including vintage and restored cars, bikes, trikes, American cars and hot rods. Cars will be judged on the Sunday and trophies will be presented to the winning owners in the afternoon by Lord Clifford, owner of Ugbrooke House & Park.

This is a great event for all the family, with plenty of entertainment, kids’ amusements, trade and craft stalls, model displays, charity stands, and much more. There will be many places to grab a drink and a bite to eat and there will also be cream teas being served in the orangery. Tours of the house will be taking place throughout the two days.

Proceeds from the event will go towards the organisers’ chosen charity, Help for Heroes. Last year was the show’s most successful year-to-date which spurred the organisers to expand the show into a two-day event. Over £1000 was raised for Help for Heroes and this year they hope to beat that total and raise as much as they can for the ‘worthwhile and heartfelt organisation’, the press release says.

The show is open from 10am – 4pm each day. Tickets cost £3.50 for adults and £2 for children and seniors. More information can be found on the show’s website.
