Event Preview: Urban Rider Presents AGV Legends

Urban Rider, the London based motorcycle clothing retailer, is hosting a first-of-its-kind social event tomorrow night at London’s Greenwich Market, in partnership with AGV Helmets to launch the Italian brand’s Legends Series lids.

The free-of-charge event starts at 7.30pm on Thursday 3rd May, and visitors will have the opportunity to see a variety of classic race bikes, including one of Barry Sheene’s 70s Grand Prix Suzukis, as well as vintage and custom bikes from Autofabrica, Death Machines of London and Stockwell Design.

Visitors can also get free crash helmet pinstriping from Nefarious, a free leather AGV keyring with initial embossing, live music, refreshments and prize giveaways from the likes of the Bike Shed in Shoreditch.

If you fancy riding to the event, arrive before 8.30 and you can park inside Greenwich Market itself, and additional motorcycle parking will also be available on the night on a first come first served basis.

The AGV Legends Series being launched at the event brings back two iconic crash helmets that were worn by Grand Prix racing legends Giacomo Agostini and Renzo Pasolini, the X3000 and X70.

The X3000 was the first ever full-face crash helmet favoured by motorcycle racers in the 60s, and has been reborn with the same nostalgic retro design. The X70 embodies the classic style and charm of AGV’s original invention of the fibre jet style helmet in 1954, which continues to be popular today.

You can find out more about the Urban Rider Presents AGV Legendsevent on the dedicated Facebook event page.
