Images of Yamaha’s new FJR1300 have been leaked after exhaust firm Akrapovic published pictures of the model with one of its aftermarket exhausts.
Akrapovic, who usually see models months in advance so that they can begin work on their products, posted the picture for a short time on its website yesterday. They were taken down later in the day.
The photo showed no major changes, but it can be seen to have new side fairings, a slightly revised subframe and more up-to-date clocks, but the frame appears identical as does the engine and the rest of the major components.
Photos only exist of the bike’s rear at present, so it is unclear whether there is are any design tweaks to the front of the Yamaha model.
Technical information is scarce, although emissions documents from America’s Environmental Protection Agency website reveal that the 2013 FJR was keeping the existing 1298cc capacity and 143.5bhp power output.
