The 21st Custom and Classic motorcycle and trike show, probably the biggest and oldest motorcycle event in the Milton Keynes area, will take place on Sunday 3 August at the Cruik Barn, Bradwell Abbey, MKWeb reports.
Organised by the Barrel Bikers Motorcycle Club, the family-friendly event is completely free to attend – although there will be opportunities for attendees to contribute to various charities. This year the club is supporting Macmillan Cancer Care, with a raffle, tombola stall and collections to raise money.
Besides that, the event organisers promise that the show will once again attract lots of customised motorcycles and trikes, together with a wide selection of classic bikes. They are calling on locals to take their classic motorbikes, trikes and scooters out of the garage and get them polished and waxed before heading to the event.
Among the highlights of the show will be a public vote for best bike, as well as other prizes and classes. The club, however, notes that you don’t need to have an impressive bike to attend – the idea of the event is to spend time with friends and family.
For that purpose, the club will provide a bouncy castle and ice cream for the children. Their parents can spend time at a licensed bar or at various craft stalls, trade stalls and local charity stalls. Food stands will be on site to sell burgers and chips.
Entry to the show starts from 11:00am and the prize giving is planned to take place at 4:00pm.
