Biaggi signs with Aprilia until 2012

Max Biaggi has signed a two year contract with the Alitalia Aprilia team, keeping him in the World Superbike championship until 2012.

Gazetta dello Sport reports that Biaggi, current leader in the World Superbike championship has put pen to paper on the deal, which ends any speculation over a possible move back to MotoGP.

The Aprilia team, in only their second season in WSB, are also expected to offer a new deal to British rider Leon Camier, who is also out of contract at the end of the season.

Camier, who moved to WSB after winning the British Superbike Championship last season, has secured three podium finishes for Aprilia this season, including a third place finish at Silverstone on Sunday.
