Carole Nash is to extend an offer, which provides free excess protection insurance after it proved so popular that the company funded over £100,000 of cover for UK bikers in just six weeks.
The promotion, which was due to end on May 31, has now been extended until June 30 due to unprecedented demand. Riders taking out a new modern motorcycle policy before that date will receive Excess Protection insurance, normally costing £29.99, absolutely free. Should they claim on their policy, they could then save up to a further £500 as they won’t need to pay the excess – the amount insurers require them to pay towards the cost of a claim.
Explaining its decision to extend the promotion’s deadline, Carole Nash’s head of marketing Rebecca Donohue said: “Whilst we always knew this was going to be a popular offer to be honest we’ve been a little taken aback at just how much demand it created. Our ‘phones have been ringing off the hook! As a result we’ve decided to give more bikers the opportunity to take advantage of an offer, which provides them with real belt and braces financial protection, giving them a full year of reassurance if they suffer a theft or accident their excess will be covered.”
Carole Nash, which is the UK’s biggest motorcycle insurance specialist* is offering the free excess protection with all new comprehensive and third party fire and theft (TPFT) policies for modern road bikes, including custom motorcycles. The offer is open only to bikers who purchase insurance via the special promotional hotline number 0800 458 2613 and quote reference FRXS.
