Fancy learning some track tips from one of the UK’s fastest motorcycle racers? Why not book up for one of nine MSVT trackdays at Donington Park and experience a riding masterclass from top British superbike star Leon Haslam?
The Carole Nash backed star, whose father Ron runs the legendary Ron Haslam Race School, is running sessions at his favourite circuit throughout the year. Up to seven participants can participate on each date, with Leon riding with his pupils for up to seven sessions throughout the day. The 34-year-old will impart his knowledge to the group, who will have plenty of time to chat about his racing career and pose for photographs throughout the day.
Mark Rusted, MSV Trackdays Manager, said: “This really is an incredible opportunity to spend a day with and learn from a true superbike superstar. Donington is Leon’s local track, and his favourite too, so he’s got a great deal of affection for the place. There’s no-one better to teach riders of all abilities how to handle its challenges.”
Leon’s first Donington date is on Saturday March 3, before he embarks on his 2018 racing campaign which, fittingly enough, starts with the British superbike round at Donington Park on April 2.
He added: “I’m joining forces with MSVT for some track days at Donington Park this year – a little bit of tuition, a few briefings to try to make you guys a little bit faster and a bit safer so I look forward to seeing you soon.”
The price of the standard track day is £129, with the ‘Track Academy’ priced at £428.
