After receiving over 600 entries to our Carole Nash 2017 calendar competition, our brand ambassador, British Superbike racer Leon Haslam, has chosen our top 12 finalists.
Working with the Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes, 12 motorcycle enthusiasts across the country were given designer motorcycle clothing to wear provided by DPC Distribution, posed and became our faces for 2017.
The top three entrants will win an overnight stay in Birmingham and tickets to attend Motorcycle Live on the 19th November. The winner will also be awarded the top prize which consists of a modelling contract for a year, a makeover, professional photoshoot and a new leather jacket worth up to £150. The second prize is a new leather jacket and clothing vouchers, with the third prize being clothing vouchers. Everyone will also receive a copy of the calendar to hang pride of place on a wall in their home!
Our calendar will be available to the public on the Carole Nash stand 2C15 at the Motorcycle Live show at the NEC this November. We are encouraging all who take one to make a voluntarily donation to the Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes[b1] , who transport blood and breastmilk to hospitals around the country for free in their spare time. Any donations will help maintain its costs for carrying out these selfless deeds every day, saving lives around the UK. To make a donation, please visit:https://mydonate.bt.com/charities/nabb
Peter Robertson, Chair of the Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes, kindly provided us with his thoughts on our calendar: “On behalf of the Blood Bike community I’d like to thank Carole Nash and all those involved in producing this calendar and of course, in advance, thank all those that donate.
“The Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes was more than happy to encourage riders in our member groups to put themselves forward to be one of the “images” of the month and we know the riders reacted enthusiastically.
“The proceeds will help continue to support and underpin the vital work that Blood Bikers all over the U.K. and indeed, Ireland do.”
Check out our 12 finalists below and let us know your favourite by tweeting @insidebikes to help us decide on our top three! The selected finalists will be informed on Friday the 7th of October but won’t be revealed to the public until the 19th of November at the Motorcycle Live event.
