So, you’ve just bought a shiny new bike and you’re already anticipating your first proper ride. You want to show it off and you want to look good doing it. The first thing you should do is buy some nice new riding gear so that you can look just as good as your machine. And nothing will complement your bike better than matching clothing and accessories. We’ve done our research, and below are some top products from the most popular manufacturers.

Kawasaki

Ninja Leather Biking Suit – If you own a Kawasaki, you’ll most likely be rooting for Team Green. Show your support by investing in a pair of strikingly stylish Ninja Leather Trousers (£372.96) and matching Ninja Leather Jacket (£454.95). Both the jacket and trousers are Italian inspired with a green on black colour scheme, and are made from premium cowhide leather, offering great looks along with good levels of protection.

The trousers come with an inner lining to improve breathability, while the jacket features CE-approved elbow and shoulder protectors, external shoulder protectors and an optional back protector that can be inserted into the back pocket. An internal zip connects the trousers to the jacket. You can complete your Ninja look with a pair of Leather Gloves (£148.95).

BMW

Neck Brace Street (£330.18) – You can never have too much protection when taking to the road, and this is a great bit of kit for the safety conscious. BMW Motorrad’s Neck Brace System provides a high-level of protection for the rider’s cervical spine. The brace has two shoulder-blade supports, is easily adjustable and allows a full range of neck movement. This is a great bit of kit which can be folded and therefore easily transported. It can be used with all big name helmets and clothing and is attachable via a zip.

City 2 Trousers (£175.54) – Now it’s finally starting to warm up, most of us will be packing away our waterproofs and will be on the hunt for an alternative to our sweaty leathers. BMW’s City 2 Trousers are ideal for warmer weather; they are made from a mix of cotton and Cordura which makes them breathable and highly wear-resistant, while also providing the rider with a great level of protection.

The trousers come with detachable NP protectors which can be adjusted to two heights at the knees. They also feature a belt, zipped pockets, an adjustable ankle and a connecting zip that fits all BMW Motorrad jackets.

Ducati

Women’s Tour 14 Fabric Jacket (£379) – The Tour 14 Fabric Jacket is perfect for female riders and is suitable for all types of riding, from the daily commute to the long distance tour. The jacket can be worn in all types of weather, thanks to its Hydratex rainproof and windproof membrane and its detachable thermal lining. What’s more, the jacket is fitted with adjustable neck, waist and sleeves, along with an adjustable air flow unit. This lightweight, multifunctional jacket is a great finishing touch to any biking outfit.

Harley-Davidson

Men’s Beginnings Leather Jacket (£532.45) – It would be a crime for any Harley rider not to own an iconic Harley bikers jacket. Men’s Beginnings Leather Jacket is a classic, ultra-stylish biker’s jacket that packs a real punch. The jacket comes fitted with Harley-Davidson’s Triple Vent System which allows for breathability and enhanced airflow through the strategically placed vents on the three sides of the rider’s body. The jacket also features pre-curved sleeves for enhanced rider movement, padded upper arms, elbows and back waist for comfort, reflective piping and a power-stretch waist. Body armour for the shoulders and elbows can be bought separately.

Winged Skill Printed Bandana (£21.59) – If you’re more of a Hells Angel than an Easy Rider, why not invest (if you haven’t already) in an authentic Harley-Davidson winged skull printed bandana.
