Wemberle-y, Wember-ley – we’re off to Wembley!

It might be best known for showcasing a bunch of over-paid blokes kicking around an inflated bladder, but Wembley this month hosts something much, much more exciting – the Ace Cafe Stunt Fest & Streetfighter Festival. bike stunts

Now in its fourth year this annual event has swiftly and firmly established itself on bikers’ “must do” list thanks to its heavy mix of top class customs and superb stunt action. This year’s show is most definitely no exception with the premiere of the Stunt Bike Open Freestyle Championship Finals added to a packed line-up.

In fact stunt riders from across the continent will be in North London to battle it out in the Individual Freestyle, Longest Stoppie and Sickest Trick contests, each of which is guaranteed to deliver eye-popping two-wheeled trickery. You can get a flavour of what to expect courtesy of this generous video compilation of jaw-dropping feats from last year’s much acclaimed show.

On the custom front top ticket is arguably the “show up and shine” Best Streetfighter award. Triumphing last year was Morgan Price aka Cabbie’s cheekily named Kwikasfaki GSXR special which earlier in the year was also seen gracing the Britain’s Got Biking Talent (now known asBuilt In Britain – get your entries in now!) finalists’ stand at the Carole Nash London Motorcycle Show. But Best Streetfighter is but one of many other contest categories that also include, naturally, Best In Show, along with Best Engineering, Best Brightwork, Best Rat and more. To mark their respective 110th and 90th anniversaries there will also be special awards for the best Harley-Davidson and BMW Streetfighters.

The entertainment is non-stop with the East Coast FMX squad, featuring the indisputably awesome Red Bull X regular Chris Birch, also in town. Watch out too for firebreathing Fuel Girls, captured here in glorious moving technicolor by Carole Nash back at the 2011 show.

Talking of Carole Nash you’ll not be surprised to hear that the show team will as usual be heading to North London for this unmissable show. The company’s trusty marquee will again be ready to welcome you for the ritual giving away freebies and insurance advice and to point you in the direction of another “must do” – the Ultimate Biking Giveaway Prize Draw.+

Watch out too for celebrating Ace Cafers as the North Circular Road institution is celebrating its 75th anniversary

* The Ace Cafe Stunt Fest & Streetfighter Festival takes place on Sunday 28th July at the Wembley Stadium Complex, Engineers Way, Wembley, HA9 0AA.  Entry is £10 or £15 for a family ticket. Advance tickets are available from the Ace Café, clicking here or on the gate.
