Win Arnie’s Fat Boy

carole-nash-bike-reviews.jpg

win arnies fat boyHarley-Davidson are offering bikers the chance to win one of their Fat Boy machines, as seen in the Terminator 2 movie. The H-D Motor Company has launched a market-leading online booking system at www.harley-davidson.co.uk that enables motorcyclists to book test rides at all dealerships all year round.

The launch follows a successful pilot of the system that ran for a four-week period last year. It provides 24/7 access to bookings making it easy for motorcyclists who are unable to visit or phone a dealership during working hours.

Customers who try the new system, between 9th April and 3rd May will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win a Fat Boy Special. The machine was produced to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the iconic Fat Boy motorcycle, ridden by Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 2: Judgement Day, and is worth more than £15,000.

The Fat Boy Special is darker and lower than the standard model, which remains one of the most popular motorcycles ever to roll out of the Harley-Davidson design studio. Dressed in satin chrome and denim black, the motorcycle retains the bold presence of the Fat Boy while offering a fresh interpretation. It is available to test ride throughout the year along with other models in the 2010 range. Highlights include the Electra Glide Ultra Limited touring machine, the factory custom, chopper-style Dyna Wide Glide and the race-inspired XR1200X.

Test ride slots can be booked online at www.harley-davidson.co.uk/testride with a list of available bikes at your nearest dealership on view.

“We are keen to make riders aware of the free-of-charge opportunity to test ride our motorcycles all-year round,” says Stuart Farrell, Harley-Davidson Managing Director for the UK and Ireland. “The only way to truly experience the feeling that you get from riding a Harley is by test riding one.

“Our dealers are keen to help new and existing customers understand the lifestyle opportunity that Harley ownership presents and the online booking system removes any intimidation factor of having to ask for a test ride. The prize bike is just an added incentive to kick-start the motorcycle riding season.”
