Yamaha has extended its Dark Side MT Tour to include one more stop: Motorcycle Live at the NEC in Birmingham later this month.
Visitors to the show can expect to see the full MT range, including the MT-09, MT-09 Street Rally and MT-07, with bikes available for test rides. For those interested in taking a test ride, they have to be booked on the day of the show, and places are limited – so if you’re going along, make sure you head to the Yamaha stand first to secure a slot.
Situated next to the MT Tour truck, the Yamaha stand will showcase the manufacturer’s 2015 models and colours.
Over the summer the MT Tour visited London, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester and Edinburgh, showcasing every bike in the MT range and giving visitors to the free roadshow the chance to take a test ride.
Yamaha brought along a fleet of MT models for riders with a full motorcycle licence to take demo road tests. Novices, A1 and A2 licence holders were given the chance to try out the MT-125 and the 35kW version of the MT-07 on a special test course with instructors on hand to assist.
Among the highlights was the official launch of the new MT-09 Street Tracker, the first chance to get up close to the MT-125, and a prize draw to win a brand new MT-07.
At Motorcycle Live, the giant MT Tour truck will take centre stage for the MT Tour display with its Dark Side branding and collection of MT clothing and accessories. The truck will have many of the accessorised MT Tour bikes on show, along with the Dave Coates MT-09 stunt bike, Yamaha says.
Motorcycle Live at the NEC runs from 22-30 November.
