Royal Enfield unveils new Bullet 350

Royal Enfield has revealed the latest incarnation of the classic Bullet, the longest-running motorcycle model in production in the world. With a history stretching back to 1932, the Bullet has always kept its classic looks, and that’s not about to change. The latest model still carries that old world feel with pride. But behind the scenes, much has changed.

The 2023 Bullet 350 shares Royal Enfield’s latest 349cc air/oil-cooled single cylinder ‘J-series’ engine with the Meteor, Classic and Hunter. Power output is modest, with 20.2bhp and 27Nm of torque, but Royal Enfield promises strong, low-end grunt, smooth and linear power delivery, and a refined ride. To achieve this, there’s a primary balancer shaft to cut down vibrations, and an optimised five-speed gearbox.

The chassis has been updated and made firmer than previously to increase stability and inspire confidence. Forks are 41mm in diameter, the front wheel is 19” and rear 18”, tyres are now wider (100/90-19 and 120/80-18), and there are disc brakes front and rear. The single bench seat is new to make the ride more comfortable, too.

The Bullet 350 will be available in two versions in Europe: The Bullet Standard is available in black or maroon colourways at £4629, with hand-pinstriped body-coloured tanks and components as well as chrome and gold badges; The Bullet Black Gold with a combination of matt and gloss black tank, copper and gold 3D badge, copper pinstriping and blacked-out engine and components, available at £4709.
