What’s on at LlanBikeFest 2019?

Five years after it was created, all roads lead to Llangollen once again this August for LlanBikeFest 2019, the fifth and finest (so far!) instalment of this brilliant biking weekend.

Guest of Honour at this year’s event will be none other than TT star Ian Hutchinson. He’ll be revealing all in an in-depth interview with Steve Plater and sharing the secrets of this year’s campaign with Honda.

Make sure you bring your camera. After all, it’s not every day that you get the chance to grab a selfie with the only man in history to win five TT races in a week!

A feast for the eyes

Among the bikes on show will be a breathtaking range of Triumphs, including the All New Street Scrambler, Tiger Range, and the ever-popular Bonneville Bobber.

For those looking for something more vintage, George Formby tribute artist Graeme Hardy is also booked in for the weekend. He’ll be bringing his Shuttleworth Snap and his ukulele, so you won’t miss him!

And from the past to the future, young riders from Llangollen and District Motorcycle Club are gearing up to put on a show when they compete in the Junior Kickstart Competition across the weekend.

Daring tales of adventure at LlanBikeFest 2019

Elsewhere at LlanBikeFest 2019, there will once again be a dedicated zone for authors with unique bike and travelling tales.

From Jacqui Furneaux, the woman who bought an Enfield when she was 50 and quickly embarked on a seven-year travel odyssey, through to Steve Stewart’s tales of riding the length of North and South America, there’ll be no shortage of fascinating stories to keep you entertained. Make sure you pop along and pay a visit!

Mavericks will be displaying its restoration, servicing and recommissioning work on its stand, showing some magnificent bikes it has lovingly brought back to their original glory.

And if you’re feeling like an adventure of your own, make the time to speak to RAMS Adventures. Since 2008, it has taken bikers on specialist tours around the world – including over the Himalayas, through India and around Europe. Where could you be going?

Say hello at the Carole Nash stand

Heading to Llangollen is an annual highlight for the Carole Nash team so we’re thrilled to be sponsoring LlanBikeFest 2019!

We’ll be ready and waiting with our exclusive Carole Nash goodie bags, so make sure you visit us at the Carole Nash tent stand. While you’re there, you’ll have the chance to enter our exciting free prize draw.

We’ll also have our ever-expanding range of Carole Nash merchandise available and a collection of magnificent bikes on display, while our insurance specialists will be on hand to answer any questions you’ve got about our products and services.

Pop along and say hello – we can’t wait to see you!
