Kawasaki has announced the return of the Eliminator to its line-up. In the past, the Eliminators have featured various different engine capacities and configurations, but the latest one hits the market with a 541cc parallel twin, putting it in the mix for anyone hankering after an A2 licence-friendly urban cruiser.
Competition in this category is pretty fierce, with Royal Enfield alone offering a number of options from the Meteor 350 to the Super Meteor 650, and perhaps a bit closer to home, there’s the Japanese rival Honda with its Rebel 500.
The Eliminator will not be in the showrooms until January 2024, and the specification is still largely a secret, but what we do know is that in addition to that 451cc Ninja-based fuel-injected parallel-twin engine the bike features a low seat, 18” front and 16” rear wheels and an all-new trellis-type chassis. Kawasaki also claim that the Eliminator will offer a natural and relaxed riding position, all-digital instrumentation, plus an assist and slipper clutch. And in keeping with previous Eliminator models, the new bike’s tail unit reflects the heritage of the brand family, and features twin rear shock absorbers.
The full 2024 Eliminator specification will be revealed ‘soon’, but two colour options have been confirmed; the first option being Metallic Flat Spark Black and the second Metallic Matte Carbon Gray with Flat Ebony. The Eliminator will be available from January 2024, with a guide price between £6,600 and £6,800.
