Inside Bikes

Got a question

To celebrate the beginning of the bike season, we teamed up with generous bikers across the UK to give back to local communities and launch our first ever Hero Day. Whether it was taking lunch to the office or treating that special someone by delivering flowers, the Biker Heroes were on hand to help.

Biker Dai Jones, based in Swindon was kept busy throughout the day, delivering flowers to busy mum Claire Packer, after her husband Kyle tweeted @insidebikes asking that his wife be given a gift as a thank you for all her hard work.

Dai said: “I think that the Carole Nash Hero Day is a great idea and I’m proud to have been a part of it, especially as I got to ride my bike and help people at the same time.”

Staff at Fraser Hart in Worcester also tweeted asking for a treat. Luckily Biker Hero Nicholas Jones was in the region and was able to help. He delivered some Friday afternoon cakes to the team to help brighten up their day.

Busy journalists at the Portsmouth News also received a delivery of Krispy Kreme doughnuts from John Rees, who was a Biker Hero for the Portsmouth area, after they also tweeted in asking for a Friday afternoon pick me up.

Carole Nash also carried out random acts of kindness throughout the day for anyone that a hero couldn’t help, from sending out Amazon, Starbucks and Not On the High Street vouchers to organising flowers being delivered to people’s homes.
